January 2022 saw GMT take possession of their newest asset: Car 5.

The car was fully funded in 2021 through the successful application for a grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

Allan Gate, Fleet Manager for GMT, was pleased to receive the car, thus ensuring our continued commitment to the community of Gympie for their travel to non urgent medical appointments outside the Gympie region.

With a new car comes the need for more volunteer drivers so that we can meet the ever increasing demand for our service. If you are able to spare a few hours a week, or fortnight, to drive one of the GMT Toyota Yaris Hybrid cars, please contact the office.

We will supply the required in-house training you will need for accreditation.

Since commencing in February 2021, GMT has increased its fleet from two cars to five. The fleet has clocked up over 160,000 kms transporting over 450 clients from the Gympie region to appointments from Hervey Bay to Brisbane and all points in between.
